This Privacy Policy explains how Harmony processes personal data when you use the Harmony mobile application and related services.
1. Who is responsible for your data
SIA Design Elevator is the data controller for personal data processed through Harmony, except where another provider acts as an independent controller for its own services, such as Apple or Google for certain account, payment, device or platform services.
Harmony is intended for adult users aged 18 or over. Children do not create Harmony accounts. Parents, caregivers or other authorised adults may add information relating to children to a shared household.
2. What Harmony does
Harmony helps adults manage shared child-related responsibilities, including shared expenses, household agreements, settlements, child information, communication and optional partner offers.
Because Harmony is a shared-household service, some information is intentionally visible to other authorised members of the same household.
3. Personal data we process

- name and display name;
- email address;
- Harmony and Firebase user identifiers;
- authentication information for email/password, Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple;

- optional child photo;

- settlements;
- equalisation transactions;

Harmony is a coordination and calculation tool. It does not process payment-card information for these shared household expenses.

Harmony may process:
- household chat messages;
- chat images and attachments;
- expense notes;
- comments;
- custom categories;

Subscription information
Harmony may process:
- App Store product information;

- StoreKit transaction identifiers;
- the Harmony app-account token associated with a verified transaction.
We do not receive or store your full payment-card details. App Store payments are processed by Apple.
Technical, security, analytics and diagnostic data
Harmony uses Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, App Check, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging and Performance Monitoring.
Depending on the service, technical data may include:
- app or installation identifiers;
- notification registration tokens;
- device model;
- operating-system version;
- app version;
- language;
- time zone;
- product-interaction and usage information;
- crash reports;
- application state related to crashes;
- performance and network metrics;
- approximate country or geographic information derived from IP address;
- application-integrity and App Check/App Attest signals.
Harmony does not intentionally collect precise GPS location, address-book contacts, payment-card credentials or advertising identifiers for behavioural advertising.
4. Why we use personal data
We use personal data to:
- create and secure Harmony accounts;
- provide shared-household functionality;
- calculate shared expenses and balances;
- record agreements and transactions;
- provide household chat;
- manage subscriptions and entitlements;
- send service notifications;
- provide optional offer personalisation;
- protect against misuse and fraud;
- diagnose crashes;
- monitor performance;
- improve Harmony;
- provide customer support;
- comply with legal obligations.
5. Legal bases
Where GDPR, UK GDPR or similar law applies, processing may rely on:
Performance of a contract — where processing is necessary to provide Harmony.
Legitimate interests — including service security, fraud prevention, reliability, analytics, product improvement and protection of legal rights.
Consent — where required for optional functionality or device permissions.
Legal obligation — where applicable law requires information to be processed or retained.
6. Information about children
Harmony accounts are available only to adults aged 18 or over.
Children do not create Harmony accounts.
Parents, caregivers or other authorised adults may enter information about children where they have appropriate authority to do so.
Harmony is not intended to be a comprehensive medical-record system.
Free-text fields may contain sensitive information if a user chooses to enter it. Users should enter only information necessary for their household needs.
7. AI-assisted message rewriting
Harmony may provide an optional feature that helps users review or rewrite a message before sending it.
At launch, this functionality is intended to use Apple Intelligence on the user's device where available.
The AI suggestion does not automatically send a message. The user remains responsible for reviewing and sending the final text.
Messages actually sent through Harmony are stored as part of the household chat.
Harmony may later support an embedded Google AI service. Before activating functionality that sends message content to an external AI provider, Harmony will update its privacy disclosures as necessary.
Harmony does not use AI-generated suggestions to make legal or similarly significant decisions about users.
8. Offers and referral links
Harmony may display third-party partner offers.
Users may choose to see all offers or allow Harmony to select relevant offers based on information already available inside Harmony, such as:
- country;
- child age group;
- child gender.
This selection takes place within Harmony.
Harmony does not provide partners with the child's profile, age, gender, household information or other Harmony account information merely because an offer is displayed.
When a user opens a partner offer, the destination service may receive ordinary web or App Store information and a referral or campaign identifier used to attribute a sale or conversion.
Any data collected after the user leaves Harmony is governed by the third party's own privacy policy.
Design Elevator may receive a commission for eligible purchases made through referral links.
Harmony does not sell personal data and does not share personal data for cross-app behavioural advertising.
Harmony does not use IDFA-based behavioural advertising tracking.
9. Service providers
Google and Firebase
Harmony uses Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, App Check, Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging and Performance Monitoring.
These services may process Harmony data or technical information on our behalf for authentication, storage, security, notifications, analytics, diagnostics and service performance.
Google Sign-In
When a user chooses Google Sign-In, Google processes information necessary to authenticate the user.
Apple
Harmony may use:
- Sign in with Apple;
- StoreKit;
- Apple Push Notification service;
- App Attest;
- Apple Intelligence.
Apple processes information according to its own policies and platform terms.
10. Data sharing
We may share personal data:
- with authorised members of the same Harmony household;
- with service providers necessary to operate Harmony;
- where required by law, court order or competent authority;
- where necessary to protect users, Design Elevator or others;
- in connection with a legitimate corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal data.
11. Security
Harmony uses authentication, access controls, Firebase security rules and platform security features.
Data handled by Firebase and Apple services is generally encrypted in transit and at rest according to those providers' security practices.
Harmony should not be understood as end-to-end encrypted unless a specific feature explicitly states that it is.
Authorised service operators or providers may technically be able to access data where required for operation, security, support or legal compliance and subject to appropriate access controls.
No electronic storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
12. Data retention
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide Harmony, maintain shared household records and comply with legal or security requirements.
When you delete your Harmony account:
- your account access ends;
- personal profile information is deleted or de-linked;
- information belonging only to your account is deleted;
- shared household records may remain while another authorised household member still has legitimate access to and need for them;
- the deleted user's personal identity is minimised or anonymised where feasible without damaging accounting, agreement or communication history;
- when the last active household member deletes their account, remaining household data is scheduled for deletion.
We aim to delete data eligible for deletion from active systems within 30 days.
Limited information may be retained longer where required:
- by law;
- for security or fraud investigation;
- to establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
- because of limited backup-retention schedules.
Backup copies are not used as active accounts and are removed according to the applicable backup lifecycle.
13. Account deletion
Users can initiate account deletion inside Harmony through:
Settings → Account → Delete account
Harmony may require reauthentication before completing deletion.
Deleting a Harmony account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store subscription.
App Store subscriptions must be managed using Apple's subscription-management tools.
For Sign in with Apple accounts, Harmony will take the required steps to revoke the relevant Sign in with Apple relationship during account deletion.

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to:
- access personal data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- request deletion;
- restrict or object to processing;
- receive certain data in portable form;
- withdraw consent;
- lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.
Shared household records may be subject to exceptions where immediate erasure would affect another person's legitimate records or legal rights.
